PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
- Eight
years teaching and research experience in university.
- Programming
languages: Matlab, Fortran, C and C++, MFC, Object-Oriented Programming
techniques, OpenGL programming techniques. Having developed some useful
mathematical and computer graphic class for the developments of finite
element computational programs and computer software.
- Computers
: SUN, SGI workstations, PC with Windows 98 or Windows NT.
- Very
strong interest in Pre/Post processor developing : Strong experience in
CAD, data structure, algorithm design, computer graphics and visualization
or scientific computing etc. Mastering well OpenGL programming techniques,
3D graphics and C++. Rendering finite element data (deformed shape,
contours values, isoline and isosurface) for visualization in 2D and 3D
with rotation, animation, light effects and cutting plane techniques etc.
- Strong
experience in developing computer software using OSF/Motif, ViewKit on the
workstation and Visual C++ and MFC on PC. Having developed independently :
- FER/Mesh 1.0, a prepocessor (under development) which can be
used to build model geometries (at the moment just 2D model) and to
generate structured or unstructured mesh,
- FER/PrePost 1.0, a
pre/post processor that has an interface with the CAD software. It can be
used to define he finite element analysis models, to review and to
interpret your results quickly and efficiently.
- FER/View PC version,
a PC version of post processor for numerical computation,
- FER/View SGI
version, a UNIX version of post processor on SGI workstation,
- FER/Mech, a software
for mechanism simulation.
- Solid
professional background in engineering mechanics, finite element method
and mathematics. Good knowledge on fluid dynamics, heat transfer, solid
mechanics, contact mechanics. Having developed
- FER/Drop, a
computational fluid dynamics program used for modeling of droplet
spreading and solidification during thermal spray
- FER/Heat, a computational heat tranfer program ( which is
suitable not only to classical thermal analysis, but also to thermal
analysis with a moving heat flux
- FER/Contact, a FEA software in which the frictional contact
between 2D or 3D deformable bodies undergoing large deformations and
large displacements can be solved
- FER/Solid 1.0, a solid mechanics analysis software under
development in which the interfaces with Pro/Engineer, I-DEAS, are
developed.
- Programming
of algorithms for solution of time dependent linear or non linear
equation, such as : Euler implicite/explicite, Newmark and Wilson, Newton
Raphson, Gauss elimination, Sky line, Frontal method and iterative methods,
such as Jacobi Conjugate Gradient method and Preconditioned Conjugate
Gradient method.
- Three
years experience with ABAQUS, ANSYS, I-DEAS and Pro/Engineer software.
